Roberto Barni is born in Pistoia Italy in 1939. Now he lives and works in Florence (Italy).
Today Barni is considered one of the most famous contemporary sculptor still alive.
He starts his first artistic experiences in the ‘50s using different materials like iron, wood, clay, photography and newspaper.
His first exhibition starts in 1960.
Between 1986 and 1987 Roberto Barni holds solo exhibitions in the USA.
Since 2002 he has exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions.
